Not my mother's daughter...

Whitney: Mom has decided that I must not be her daughter since I love to dress-up so much. I've even started to thank Heavenly Father in my prayers for all my pretty dresses.

I even insisted on wearing the pictured outfit that I put together to church one Sunday. Watch out Hollywood, here I come!

More snow!

Whitney: It snowed again this week. Luckily it snowed much harder and for a longer period of time. It even stuck in some places. Unfortunately not enough to do anything fun with it.

Maren: I even got to catch of few flakes on my tongue while we were out running errands!
Whitney: Since there wasn't much snow to play with, my friend Mackenzie and I decided to make our own snow with powdered sugar. We dumped the entire container of it on the kitchen floor and had a grand time playing in it and getting covered with it. It was a lot sweeter tasting than real snow! Mom and Dad weren't real excited to clean up that mess.

Extreme Sports!

Maren: She looks so innocent and loving in the picture but let me tell you the truth about my big sister. Whitney has decided that I need to be an adrenaline junkie like her and has decided to initiate me into the realm of extreme sports. Her favorites for me to participate in (by no choice of my own!) are extreme swinging and rocking. Luckily for me they make these great 5 point harnesses so I don't go flying out on my head! The other problem is she always chooses to do this while I'm SLEEPING. I tell you what, it is so hard to get some shut eye around here!

Whitney: Stop your whining. I'm just getting you ready for when these crazy parents of ours take you climbing and hang you off the side of a cliff and call it fun.

Maren: Speaking of getting no shut eye, Whitney decided while I was yet again trying to sleep that I wanted to suck on her finger. So she proceeded to shove it half way down my throat. That was a rude way to be woken up!

Snow in Virginia

Maren: It snowed this week. Unfortunately, it only lasted long enough for Whitney to get out and play in it. If you look really closely at the picture below, you'll

see a few flakes.

Whitney: It was so cool. It was white and it was cold. Even backpack liked it. Of course, Tucson got an inch and a half, but who's jealous?

Maren: Here is a picture of dad showing how to palm me. I didn't think it was very funny.

Paying for College

My daddy asked me what college I was going to this week. I said, "Blue." He was happy. He then asked me who was going to pay for it. I told him, "Cindy." Daddy says he hopes she is saving her pennies.

Whitney: In other great news, I finally finished my potty chart. Now I get to play with backpack and map every day!

Maren: What she doesn't mention is what she does with Backpack! I hate that stupid song. "I'm the map, I'm the map....." I swear dad rescued me just in time!

Whitney: Stop screaming! Mom's coming, let's go!

Whitney: Dad hasn't been doing very many family letters but Maren and I are still doing lots of fun stuff. So we thought we'd sneak on here while he was at work and tell you all about it.

Maren: I celebrated my one month birthday last month. That means mom and dad can go buy a new thermometer to replace the one they threw away when I was born so they couldn't know I had a fever!

Whitney: I've been working on not touching Maren while she's sleeping...but it's so hard.

Maren: She wakes me up after like 2 minutes. It is impossible to get any sleep around here.

Whitney: Shut up or I'll put you back in the trunk where you belong!
