Snow in Virginia

Maren: It snowed this week. Unfortunately, it only lasted long enough for Whitney to get out and play in it. If you look really closely at the picture below, you'll

see a few flakes.

Whitney: It was so cool. It was white and it was cold. Even backpack liked it. Of course, Tucson got an inch and a half, but who's jealous?

Maren: Here is a picture of dad showing how to palm me. I didn't think it was very funny.

Paying for College

My daddy asked me what college I was going to this week. I said, "Blue." He was happy. He then asked me who was going to pay for it. I told him, "Cindy." Daddy says he hopes she is saving her pennies.

Whitney: In other great news, I finally finished my potty chart. Now I get to play with backpack and map every day!

Maren: What she doesn't mention is what she does with Backpack! I hate that stupid song. "I'm the map, I'm the map....." I swear dad rescued me just in time!

Whitney: Stop screaming! Mom's coming, let's go!

Whitney: Dad hasn't been doing very many family letters but Maren and I are still doing lots of fun stuff. So we thought we'd sneak on here while he was at work and tell you all about it.

Maren: I celebrated my one month birthday last month. That means mom and dad can go buy a new thermometer to replace the one they threw away when I was born so they couldn't know I had a fever!

Whitney: I've been working on not touching Maren while she's sleeping...but it's so hard.

Maren: She wakes me up after like 2 minutes. It is impossible to get any sleep around here.

Whitney: Shut up or I'll put you back in the trunk where you belong!

New Year, New Blog, Same Old Lame Dad

Whitney: Our Dad is so lame, he is always hogging our computer so we can't ever get on here to let you all know what's going on. He says if he lets us on the computer we'll get the keyboard all gooey. What a dummy!

He says he is just trying to take care of stuff so we have a roof over our head, food in our mouths, and a chance at a college education. Judging by the current state of the food we've been eating, he needs to work on his computer skills, and don't even get me started on the roof. Maren and I don't need a college education anyway since we're going to be co-presidents of the United States. I'm still not sure what the connection between Settlers of Catan and the roof is.

Maren: The milk supply around here really leaves something to be desired. I never get anything but homemade. The other day the milk didn't even taste milky, it was like pizza or something. Why doesn't the cow ever eat ice cream or chocolate? I think there must be a famine or something because she is getting skinnier and skinnier every day. I knew there was going to be a problem when I realized how much running was going on when I was in utero.

Whitney: Dad's coming! Let's get off. We'll chat with you all later. Until then, don't believe all that crap in the family letter!
